WSOP Top Tweets Of The Day

Here are some of the most recent, amusing and charged tweets coming from the WSOP in Las Vegas:
Josh Arieh, while playing the $50,000 Poker Players Championship.
“I’m being made fun of for the way I played a hand of triple draw. Can u guess by who?? Absolutely! The one and only PH!!”
Arieh eventually finished in 13th place for a $124,723 pay-day, while Hellmuth is still in the running with just 9 players remaining.
Matt Jarvis, on his way home to Canada after winning the $5,000 No Limit Hold’em event for $808,538:
“Wow, at the Vancouver airport and the customs officers are trying to make me pay duty on my WSOP gold bracelet!! Are u F***ing kidding me??”

Bryan Devonshire
“I don’t feel very independent, free, or patriotic this 4th of July.”
“I feel like I’m playing poker in a James Bond video game. Have a Brazilian, Italian, Frenchie, 2 old guys, 1 hick, and a rich Japanese guy.”

Scott Seiver, called Owais Ahmed a “f***** up individual” while playing the $50k Poker Players’ Championship. Ahmed then called a floor person whose warning was not enough for the WSOP bracelet winner who insisted Tournament Director Jack Effel got involved, leading to a one-hand penalty to Scott Seiver.

“@oerockets [Owais Ahmed] is a huge piece of shit with no ethical code. Disgusted by him for calling multiple floors until Jack decided to give a penalty.”
Owais Ahmed then tried to bring Seiver’s comment to Jack Effel and re-tweeted:
“Its against the rules to berate players. How can u allow him to berate me on twitter?”
Tom Schneider
“Guys complaining about @wsop having ladies event is like men bitching they can’t jump in the plastic colored balls @chuckycheeze #getoverit.”
Doyle Brunson after announcing he would be missing this year’s WSOP Main Event, having admitted to losing some of his passion for the game since Black Friday.
“I’ll put my daughter Pam in the ME if she feels up to it. She has some problems also. Then there will be 2 (Todd) Brunsons in.”
