888poker Sponsors Three 2015 November Niners

888poker Sponsors Three 2015 November NinersJust ahead of the 2015 WSOP Main Event final table getting underway in Las Vegas on November 8th, online operator 888poker has announced that it is to sponsor three members of the November Nine, namely Joe McKeehen (photo), Neil Blumenfield and Tom Cannuli. The latest deal is sure to provide a great opportunity for 888poker to show off its patches, especially with Joseph McKeehen starting the final table as the chip leader, and therefore the early favorite to take down the prestigious tournament. As fellow competitor Neil Blumenfield explains:
“Obviously, McKeehen’s the favorite. I love my position at the table. That’s a big advantage for me. He’s really tough, and I’ll have to be very careful about picking spots with him. But, I will pick good spots with him.”
In fact, McKeehen currently holds around one-third of the chips in play, equal to 158bb, with Israel’s Zvi Stern in second spot with 74.5bb, and a third placed Neil Blumenfield much further behind on 55bb. 888poker’s other sponsored pro, on the other hand, Thomas Cannuli, will start the final table in 6th place on a 31bb stack.
As well as covering a range of starting stacks, 888poker’s sponsorship picks also cover a range of ages and career accomplishments, although they all hail from the USA. Joseph McKeehen, for instance, is a 24 year-old pro with $2,088,910 in career earnings, not including the $1,001,020 he is guaranteed for reaching the WSOP ME final table. Neil Blumenfield, on the other hand, is 61 years-old with $169,285 in tournament winnings, while Thomas Cannuli, 23, has just $52,235 in live cashes to his name.
888poker is currently the second biggest online poker site in the world with an average of 2,300 cash game players over a 7-day period. The site also already boasts a number of accomplished sponsored pros, including the likes of Dominik Nitsche, Jackie Glazier, Nico Villa Lobos, Bruno Foster Politano, Sofia Lövgren, Akira Ohyama, and Bruno Kawauti.
