The 2025 World Series of Poker schedule has been released. The 56th annual WSOP will takeover Las Vegas from May 27 to July 16 with 100 bracelet events played at the Horseshoe Las Vegas and the Paris Las Vegas.

The WSOP kicks off on May 27 with a $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em Mystery Million Bounty tournament. The winner of the tournament is guaranteed to receive $1 million, and each player will begin with a $1,000 bounty on their head.

Day 1 also includes the annual casino employees event, which has been renamed this year and is now dubbed the $500 No-Limit Hold’em Industry Employees event.

As usual the WSOP will conclude with the final day of the $10,000 Main Event on July 16. The Main event will begin on July 2 with the first of four starting days.

Last year’s WSOP Main event was the largest in WSOP history, with 10,112 entries and a $94 million prize pool. Poker pro Jonathan Tamayo outlasted everyone to win the WSOP bracelet and $10 million.

In between the first event and the final day of the main event there are several notable returning events and interesting new events. Some of the notable classic events that are back again this year include:

$25,000 No-Limit Hold’em Heads-up Championship

$500 No-Limit Hold’em Colossus

$50,000 No-Limit Hold’em Eight Max

$100,000 No-Limit Hold’em

$250,000 No-Limit Hold’em

$1,500 No-Limit Hold’em Millionaire Maker

$50,000 Poker Players Championship

$300 No-Limit Hold’em Gladiators of Poker

One of the more interesting new events on the WSOP schedule is the Battle of the Ages. It has a $1,000 buy-in and splits the tournament field into two ages groups during starting flights. Day 1A will include players 50 years old and up. Day 1B will include all players between 21 and 49.

Other news:   Phil Ivey wins 11th WSOP bracelet

Also new this year is a T.O.R.S.E. event. It’s similar to a H.O.R.S.E. event but hold’em is replaced with triple draw deuce-to-seven lowball. There are still plenty of H.O.R.S.E. events as well, with three on the schedule this year.

If you’re looking for the list of 2025 WSOP online events, they have not yet been announced. In 2024 there were 30 online events for players in New Jersey, Michigan, and Nevada, as well as seven separate online events for players in Pennsylvania.
