Latest Reactions From WSOP 2012 Final Table As Three RemainAfter 7 and a half hours of action at the 2012 WSOP Main Event Final Table on Monday, three players still remain in contention for poker’s most prestigious title, in addition to the $8,531,853 first place prize. They are Greg Merson (photo), Jesse Sylvia, and Jacob Balsiger. Six of the October Nine, however, found their WSOP aspirations come suddenly to a halt. Here are some of the player’s reactions after they hit the rail:

Robert Salaburu eliminated in 8th  ($971,360)
“Was close maybe we make it next time # do biggerthangs.”

“Greg Merson had real wide ranges and with K-Q I thought I had the perfect blocker to represent strong hands like kings, queens, A-K and there was already a lot of chips in the pot..I’m not sure if it was a good move, but it happened.”

“People made some great plays..everyone really came to play..I think it was a tough table.”
