The refresh that began with the release of their new mobile app continues at 888poker following the release of new poker tournaments and a new tournament schedule earlier this week.

A big part of the poker tournament change over is the rebranding of 888poker tournaments. There are now six different types of poker tournaments on the 888poker tournament schedule with brand new names. They include:

The Big Shot. This is where you’ll find the largest prize pools of the day. They’re effectively the Main Event of the day. The buy-ins range from $22 in the Daily 22, up to $525 in the Daily Big Shot.

The Dash. If you’re short on time these are the tournaments for you. These turbo tournaments have faster structures that move quick.

The Classic. The name says it all. Go back to the basics with these tournaments that have a shorter late registration, and simple setup. They’re also all freezeouts, so you only get one shot at this.

The Mayhem. These tournaments are the new home for short-handed poker at 888poker. All 6-Max tournaments can be found here with fast-paced action and less waiting.

The Rumble. If you’re looking for Progressive Knockout tournaments you’ll find them in the Rumble. The more bounties you collect the more cash you’ll pocket.

The Voyage. These is where you’ll find Deepstack tournaments. If you like a slower tournament with lots of chips, get ready for the Voyage.
