New Poker Show “Under the Gun” To Debut On April 26th

This Monday sees the start of a brand new poker show on CardPlayer TV, called “Under the Gun.” In the UB.com sponsored program the host Jon “pokertrip” Friedberg will be discussing a range of poker related topics alongside a rotating panel of pros in an uncensored and unscripted format.
As Friedberg explains; “We’re going to discuss and debate everything poker, from strategy to headlines to controversial topics that are typically only debated on the forums… I want to expose the mindset and views of the brightest players in the world. I want to know how their minds work as far as debating the more widely disputed topics and issues.”
“Under the Gun” was the brain-child of Jon “PokerTrip” Friedberg, and he would also appear to be a good choice to host the show, with his in-depth knowledge of poker from both sides of the cameras. Since 2006, Friedberg has not only earned over $1 million from live tournament cashes and captured a WSOP bracelet, but he has also acted as a TV commentator and a WPT Bootcamps instructor.
Talking about how his idea for the show came to fruition, Friedberg said; “I had already been thinking about it. I miss being more involved with the industry, its lifestyle, and education. I was going to contact CardPlayer to get something going again before I ran into them. The motivation is to have fun and provide entertainment to the poker community.”
“Under the Gun” is now set to air on April 26th, and the host is hoping his new show will help inspire people in the poker community to improve their own games by gaining in-depth insights into the minds of professional poker players. As well as debating various controversial poker related topics, there will also be included an interactive and educational segment, where the expert poker strategist will set various poker challenges on the UB.com website.
To catch the first episode of “Under the Gun” tune in to CardPlayer TV this coming Monday.
