2 Months $2 Million Team Profit Cut To $114,400 After Heavy Loss

The third episode of this 10 part show saw the “2 Months. 2 Million” Team suffering their biggest loss so far with the guys taking a $84,200 beating.
In this episode the “2m2m” team pitted their skills against a rival house comprised of Aaron “aejones” Jones, Andrew “luckychewy” Lichtenberger, Daniel “Starkey” Starkey and “Zugwat” Silverman. Dani Stern is a good friend of Jones and whilst playing a friendly game of basketball with each other they came up with the idea of a house on house competition involving a football competition, a nightlife challenge, and of course a poker challenge.
Despite winning the football competition 7-4, by Day 1 Week 3 the team were in the hole $34,700 after “Zugwat” Silverman, a “feared online poker player,” challenged Jay Rosenkrantz to a heads-up cash game in order to enact revenge for his house’s football defeat. Rosenkrantz ended the contest $40,000 down after having lost $17,000 in one pot alone and commented, “Maybe the house war is becoming a bit of a distraction and we’re not playing real poker.”
The Ghostbar at the Palms was the setting for the nightlife challenge, where Stern and Emil Patel were charged with finding a girl to buy them a drink, do 5 push ups and take off her panties. The good natured contest remained drawn at 2 all.
Meanwhile, Rosenkrantz’s online battle didn’t improve and after playing  Omaha against “ROCK_ET_MAN and posting a $64,000 loss for the week thus far he declared: “I’m not going to be able to save my week and now all I want to do is just crush aejones, luckychewy, Zugwat, and Starkey.”
Cue the poker challenge which involved four heads-up sit and go best of three matches. Silverman continued to dominate Rosenkrantz who lost 2-1. Roberts fared no better against Lichtenberger and half way through the competition the “2m2m” team were collectively behind 4-2. Stern managed to close the gap to 4-5 behind while playing Jones, and after Patel managed to tie the series 6-6 against Starkey the stage was set for a tie break. Roberts was able to defeat Jones whose losing team were then made to clean the teams house from top to bottom.
By the end of the episode the extent of the teams losses became apparent with only Patel making a profit for the week of $32,800, with Roberts down $4,000, Stern down $33,000, and Rosenkrantz down a huge $80,000. The $84,200 loss for Week 3 cuts the team’s current profit to  $114,400.
The next installement of this fascinating series can be viewed 9:00pm Sunday ET on G4.
