PartyPoker’s Premier League Adds Negreanu And Rousso To List

PartyPoker have just announced that Daniel Negreanu and Vanessa Rousso will be making their first ever appearances at next month’s Premier League Poker IV tournament.
Negreanu is one of the most popular poker pros on the circuit, and with $12,432,367 in live tournament cashes and 2nd spot on the all-time money list,  will be a force to be reckoned with in season four of this prestigious competition. Following his inclusion in the all star line-up, Negreanu was already devising his tactics and commented:
“I am a bit of a stats geek and a big fan of unique tournaments with point systems. Playing in this event requires a different type of strategy and I thoroughly enjoy trying to figure out what the best approach is, then implementing it, and hoping it works!”
Adding a touch of glamour and bringing her prodigious poker talent to the felts, will be none other than Team PokerStars’ Vanessa Rousso. Vanessa is a French-American dual citizen and possibly the most dangerous female player around today, having earned more than $2.5 million from live tournament cashes. Vanessa aka “Lady Maverick,” also enjoys staying in shape and is one of poker’s foremost sex symbols.
Commenting on her inclusion in the competition, Eddie Hearn from Matchroom Poker said: “There was only one target when selecting a female player for the league. Vanessa has become a huge force in poker and her win at the EPT High Rollers event coupled with her runners-up finish at the NBC Heads-Up Championship as well as a string of WSOP cashes has made her, in my opinion, the world’s number one female player right now.”
The televised competition takes place in Las Vegas from 12th to 18th February 2010, and players already taking their place at the 11 pro and one qualifier line-up, includes Mike Sexton, J.C. Tran, sensational Ukranian born Yevgeniy Timoshenko, triple-crown winner Roland de Wolfe,  Luke Schwartz and Phil Hellmuth.
