Fahredin Mustafov Wins 2017 WSOPC Rozvadov High Roller

Fahredin Mustafov Wins 2017 WSOPC Rozvadov High RollerIn September, Fahredin “FeriBo” Mustafov took down the World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) $215 NLHE [8-Max] event for $117,260. This month, Mustafov has shown that he is equally as adept in the live arena, with the Bulgarian pro winning the WSOPC Rozvadov €5,300 High Roller for €70,300 ($83,195), representing his biggest live score to date.
As a result of his latest victory, Fahredin Mustafov now boasts $557,594 in live earnings, to go with the $817,935 he has won online mostly playing at PokerStars.
The €5,300 WSOPC High Roller event was held at the King’s Casino Rozvadov in the Czech Republic, where the 2017 WSOP Europe is set to kick-off this Thursday. There were subsequently 40 entries into the competition, resulting in a €190,000 prize pool, with Mustafov eventually emerging the champion following 10 hours of action on Day 2.
After the final table of five was set, a short-stacked Pierre Neuville (J-6) called off an all-in shove by Felipe Ramos (3-2), only to see his opponent river a straight, resulting in the 2015 WSOP Main Event finalist hitting the rail in 5th for an €18,050 payday. He was followed soon after by Fabrice Halleux in 4th, whose pocket queens lost against the A-7 of Robert Schulz.
With just three players remaining, Fahredin Mustafov was sitting on around half the chips left in play when he boosted his stack further by sending Robert Schulz to the rail in 3rd, leaving just himself and Felipe Ramos to battle it out for the title. Mustafov was then able to make full use of his chip advantage, and a few hands later the final hand was played with Fahredin Mustafov three-bet shoving pre-flop with A-Q, and Ramos making the call holding A-8.
With no surprises dealt on the board, Felipe Ramos had to settle for a runner-up finish worth €48,450 ($57,337), with the Brazilian now increasing his live career earnings to $1,782,271, to go with the $701,286 he has won online under the screen name Mojave14. Meanwhile, Fahredin Mustafov collected a coveted WSOP Circuit ring for his impressive efforts.
Final Table Results:
1: Fahredin Mustafov (Bul) €70,300
2: Felipe Ramos (Brz) €48,450
3: Robert Schulz (Ger) €30,875
4: Fabrice Halleux (Bel) €22,325
5: Pierre Neuville (Bel) €18,050
