Christina Lindley To Compete At The Foxwoods World Poker Finals This Weekend

American actress and fitness model Christina Lindley will be putting her poker skills to the test this weekend as she takes part in the $10,000 No-Limit Hold’em Foxwoods World Poker Finals.
The striking looking 26 year old from Atlanta, Georgia first got her break in modelling aged 14 after a photographer discovered her at a mall in Georgia and entered her in the Seventeen Magazine/JCPenney Cover Model Contest.
As she grew Christina became more active in the fitness world and her muscular yet feminine physique made her a regular in a variety of popular fitness magazines including Muscular Development where she once had a 25 page spread.
Lindley became interested in cards after moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. She explains: “During the writer’s strike I was super bored. There was no work and I went back to Tennesse to visit my Dad and he took me to a casino and we played poker together. I fell in love with it.”
Christina believes in using all assets at her disposal to gain an edge over opponents at the poker table and this weekend will be using her good looks to distract players’s concentrations during the game. The glamorous model, who has made appearances in Maxim and Playboy, explains:
“I tend to wear fitted clothing, but it’s always classy,” and despite wearing sunglasses while playing poker, “I have one move where I take them off and just look at you. I’ll just stare at you,” which would be enough to drive all but the most experienced of players to distraction.
Such is Christina Lindley’s enthusiasm with the game that she is currently working on a script for a tv series about online poker card sharks and as she explains: “The series is called ‘Grinders. I have a development deal with a production company. I’m working with a ghostwriter.”
We wish Christina all the luck at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut this weekend and are sure the tournament will benefit greatly from having such a glamorous and talented young star at this year’s competition.
