Rannvijay Singha Becomes the Spartan Poker AmbassadorOne of India’s most popular television presenters, Rannvijay Singha, has just been appointed as the very first brand ambassador of online poker website The Spartan Poker. Like many people across the vast sub-continent, the 34 year-old Mumbai resident is an avid poker player who has grown up with card games from a young age, and commenting on its latest ambassador, Amin Rozani, Co-founder of The Spartan Poker, stated:
“He is an excellent poker player. As a youth icon who is so bold and canny, I think Rannvijay is a perfect fit for us to make people aware of poker as an intellectual game, sport and not just gambling.”
The Spartan Poker was launched back in 2014, and over the ensuing years the brand has become one of the most trusted portals for online poker players to head to in India, especially for tournaments. Rannvijay Singha, too, has enjoyed competing on Spartan Poker, and will now get to share his enthusiasm with the game by promoting the site and highlighting the skill aspects of poker.
Commenting on his new appointment, Rannvijay said that he was excited to be associated with such a well-respected and popular destination for poker players, stating:
“Having used the portal myself, I have come to realise that poker is a skill-based game, and while physical fitness is important, mental fitness is equally important. It’s a thinking game that puts your mind to task, and has hence proved to be a wonderful tool through which everyone can build and enhance their analytical and logical skill sets.”
Rannvijay Singha got his television career break in 2003 after appearing as a contestant on the MTV India reality show Roadies. He was later contracted to host the show, and in addition to his television work Rannvijay has starred in a number of Bollywood movies, including the 2009 crime thriller called ‘Toss: A Flip of Destiny’.
