888poker announces Millions Super Storm Series
August 18, 2020 5:33 pmThe latest poker series at 888poker is a month-long massive series with 460 events and $8 million in guaranteed prize pools.
The Millions Super Storm Series is scheduled to run at 888poker from September 10 to October 11. There are multiple events everyday with 460 events total on the schedule with varying buy-ins to fit any poker budget.
The buy-ins start at $5.50 and go up to $530, with a wide range in between including $7.50, $22, $33, $55 and more.
How does the Millions Super Storm Series work?
The event types also vary throughout the series. There are DeepStack tournaments, PKO tournaments, 8-max tournaments, Big Fish tournaments, R&A tournaments and more on the schedule.
If you’re looking for big guarantees Sunday is the day to remember throughout the series. Every Sunday there are three big tournaments on the schedule. First is the Mini Sunday Special. It has a $55 buy-in and a $50,000 guarantee.
The Sunday Special has a $215 buy-in and a $100,000 guarantee, Finally, the Sunday Mega Deep has a $109 buy-in and a $100,000 guarantee. All three tournaments run every Sunday during the series.
The series schedule may begin on September 10, but the main event actually begins much sooner. The Millions Super Storm Series Main Event has a $320 buy-in and a seven-figure $1 million guarantee. The main event has multiple starting flights which begin at 888poker on August 23rd.
Players can enter as many starting day flights as they wish, and they can also re-enter each starting flight up to three times.
If you don’t have $320 to drop on the main event there are cheaper ways to earn your way in. You can play in a direct qualifier for $30 where the winner is guaranteed a seat in the main event. There are also satellite steps to get to the direct qualifier that start as cheap as a penny.
All players who survive a starting day flight will advance to Day 2 of the main event on Sunday, October 11. The remaining players will play until an overall winner is crowned.
