Intertops Poker celebrating Rumble in the Jungle with bounty tournaments

The 45^th anniversary of the Rumble in the Jungle is coming up later this month, and Intertops Poker is celebrating with a new series of bounty tournaments including a $2,000 guaranteed final.

George Foreman and Muhammad Ali clashed in the ring in Zaire on October 30, 1974. For anyone that missed it, or perhaps wasn’t event born yet, Ali upset the then undefeated Foreman to reclaim the heavyweight title.

At Intertops Poker this month the heavyweight title might not be up for grabs, but you can still earn money by knocking out your opponent.

Everything begins at Intertops Poker on October 23 with the start of the Road to Zaire Omaha Bounty satellites. The tournament starts at 6:05 pm eastern and has a cheap $3.30 buy-in. For each player you eliminate in the tournament you’ll receive a $0.50 bounty.

At least one free ticket to the Rumble in the Jungle guaranteed tournament will also be available. October 23 isn’t you’re only shot at the Omaha bounty tourneys, as they’ll also be played on October 25, 27 and 29 at the same time.

On October 26, also at 6:05 pm, you can try your luck the Road to Zaire Texas Hold’em Bounty satellite. This tournament also has a $3.30 buy-in and $0.50 bounties for all eliminations. At least one free ticket to the Rumble in the Jungle guaranteed tournament will also be available.

If you can’t make it on October 26 the Texas Hold’em bounty tournaments will also be held on October 26 and 28.

It all leads to the Rumble in the Jungle $2,000 guaranteed tournament on October 30 at 7:05 pm eastern. If you don’t earn a free ticket through a satellite you can still buy-in for $22. Not only is there a $2,000 guaranteed prize pool, but you’ll also receive a $5 bounty for every player you knockout.
