October 8, 2013 12:57 pmUS poker player Vanessa Selbst has been on an incredible roll this year, and just a few weeks after finishing runner-up at the WPT $3,300 Borgata Poker Open Main for a $492,569 payday, the 29-year-old has now taken down the UKIPT £2000 High Roller Event in London for £67,499 ($109,443), thus pushing her live tournament earnings past the $8 million mark.

“I’ve been feeling really confident about my game lately. I wasn’t feeling like that in the World Series. I felt that I underperformed there but in the last few months I really feel like I’ve been playing my A game so it feels nice to have results that reflect that.”
