Tournament Poker Edge Expands Roster Of Pros
October 18, 2012 1:17 pmTraining site ‘Tournament Poker Edge’ has just added to its ever increasing roster of instructors by announcing the signing of three top players in the guise of Justin “looshle” Pechie, Jamie “and the law won” Kerstetter, and Chris “MovesLikeDarvin” Moon.
Justin “looshle” Pechie is a well-known online player who has won close to $1.7 million from online tournament, with his biggest cash coming in January 2010 at the PokerStars Sunday Warm-Up for $110,000. Pechie’s is equally at home in the live arena where he has also amassed $1,157,599 in tournament cashes. The 25 year old’s list of accolades include winning a WSOP bracelet in 2011 at the $1,500 Limit Hold’em shootout for $167,000, as well as a 2nd place finish at the $5k WSOPC Championship Event in 2007 for $260,736.
Next, Jamie “and the law won” Kerstetter (photo) is considered one of the most talented female players in the game today with a over decade of experience playing both online and live. Since Black-Friday, Jamie Kerstetter has been enjoying a lucrative career playing $2/$5 and $5/$10 live cash games. In addition, the 30 year old has been hitting the live tournament circuit in a big way and has now cashed 44 times for a total of $268,842 in winnings.
Finally, Chris “MovesLikeDarvin” Moon is a young gun with an impressive background in cash games, as well as online poker tournaments where he has won $226,296 under the screen name “EastLansing.” The Michigan resident recently had an interesting interview with PokerSoftware.com in which he discussed his use of online poker HUD Holdem Manager. However, his instincts are sharp enough to play without the use of poker software and as he explained:
“My HUD is useful for sure, but I feel like I could do fine without it. Many pros who are better than I am don’t use a HUD at all for various reasons. It certainly helps some of my decisions when I am playing enough tables that I need to make each decision quicker than I normally would.”
