Tom Dwan Wins $9 Million At Macau's Big Game?

If rumours circulating on the 2+2 forum are to be believed, then Tom Dwan walked away with a massive profit from his time spent in Macau.
According to ‘eatmystack’, Tom Dwan made around $1.7 million from the ring game against Chinese high rollers before switching to a heads-up challenge.
According to the Marketing Director of Poker King Club, Stella Yeh, Tom “durrr” Dwan then bought in for around US$2.5 million  against his Shanghai businessmen opponent and proceeded to play no limit heads-up against him with blind at HK$30k-60k (approx.US$4k-$8k).
Tom Dwan apparently lost the first marathon heads-up session to the tune of HK$20 million  (US$2.5 million), but came back with a vengeance in the second encounter with a HK$68 million (US$9 million) win over his opponent, to go US$6.5 million at the finish.
This was confirmed by online 2+2 members voycontodo and MacauPro, who wrote:
“HU2 is over. Durrr up 68mill HKD. more than made up for the 20mill loss in HU1. Good night guys.”
Taken in combination with his earlier ring game winnings then Tom Dwan could be anywhere between $8 and $9 million up from his incredible experience playing in Macau’s ‘big game’ ..
If this rumour is true then it is a major victory for Dwan and an incredible reflection on the money currently circulating in Macau’s high-roller poker scene.
Coverage of the private ‘big game’ started well but eventually came under scrutiny from the interested parties. Matt Savage, Tom Hall and Stella Yeh then had to agree to obey general guidelines and not use specific names in order to continue their reporting. The forum also received input from members who claimed to be at the casinos at the time .
