PokerStars To Reveal Isildur1 Identity At 7pm Saturday

The identity of the mystery Swedish player known as Isildur1 will finally be revealed this Saturday, at an exclusive press conference held by his sponsored site.
Isildur1 joined PokerStars in early December 2010, and the world’s biggest poker room is currently sponsoring the ten day, 55 events PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) on Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas.
It was during the first event, the $100k Super High Roller, that the revelation was made that Isildur1’s true identity would be announced at 7pm (Bahamas time) on Saturday.
Apparently Isildur1 had been sponsored by PokerStars to play the enormous buy-in event and coincidentally, 90 minutes into the tournament Viktor Blom, the player thought most likely to be Isildur1 then took his seat at the tournament. At the same time the announcer stated:
“Viktor Blom, the elusive young Swede, has just joined our field. He’s drawn Table 2 Seat 8, and Vivek Rajkumar will have the unenviable task of dealing with the maniac on his direct left.”
“There’s a lot of speculation regarding the other identity of Blom, many claiming that he is indeed the Isildur1 of nosebleed online fame. We can’t say for sure, but PokerStars is set to reveal the true identity of their newest online pro on Saturday at 7:00 P.M. Are Blom and Isildur1 the same person? We’ll know for sure in just over 48 hours.”
If Viktor Blom is in fact Isildur1 he was sporting no signs of his online sponsor. However, that could be part of the missed opportunites assessed by PokerStars, who would be missing out on some great publicity by keeping Isildur1’s identity a secret.
Therefore, in just a short time the poker community will know for certain whether what they always suspected was true i.e. Isildur1 and Viktor Blom are one and the same person.
In the meantime, Viktor Blom was eliminated on the first day of play along with 15 others, and now just 23 players remain including Daniel Negreanu and Daniel “jungleman12” Cates.
