“It’s quite insulting to penalize the 2% of customers that generate 98% of your revenue. What’s next- limited swipes on tinder premium?!?”
Phil Galfond
“Rake more from players as a whole & you usually hurt all players. When 10/20+ is unbeatable, top pros play 5/10, 5/10 pros play 2/5, etc.. Yup! I didn’t mention Stars software stuff yesterday bc I didn’t want to mix it with the unrelated VPP issue… I’m not against software changes but hope for 2 things from @PokerStars: 1. Ask for input from people who actually play online poker.. 2. Make changes U want by limiting usefulness of software, NOT by creating unenforceable rules that will put the honest players out of work.. This is not a critique, by the way. Just input. Hopefully this is exactly what @PokerStars is working on.”
Daniel Cates
“Apparently @pokerstars, in an effort to preserve poker as a game of “wits and heart” decided to remove software and lower rakeback…. while “good” in some sense for less recreational players, removing software and removing rakeback do neither of such things.”
