Poker Tweets: Erik Seidel Needled by Negreanu?

Poker Tweets: Erik Seidel Needled by Negreanu? Here are a selection of tweets coming from your favorite pros over the past few days, starting with Matt Glantz examining some of the fall out after Salomon Ponte’s controversial appearance on PokerNightTV where he proceeded to aggressively insult the players around before busting his bankroll and eventually being turfed out of the game:
Matt Glantz
“Shame that so many pros feel so entitled when they themselves have never worked to do anything positive for the game. And many have hurt it. For example, @AllenKessler who does nothing but good for the community & never dishonest move in his life. And they constantly shit on him. So, where should we draw the line with who not to put on @PokerNightTV? There is probably a clear line, but I don’t know what that is.”
Talking about players who over the years have significantly contibuted to the game, 8-times WSOP bracelet winner Erik Seidel recently cashed for $461,570 at the PSC Monte Carlo, taking him ever closer to his goal of overtaking Daniel Negreanu on the ‘All Time Money List”. Seidel is obviously cognisant of Negreanu’s desire to maintain his top spot, though, and as Seidel tweeted:
“Came in 3rd Monte Carlo 50k. Was feeling sharp jabs during final, does @RealKidPoker have a Voodoo doll?”
In the meantime, Phil Hellmuth may not have had a major score for a year, but at least he’s finished yet another book about his life, and as his latest tweet reads:
“Pre-order my autobiography “Poker Brat” here: Own a copy before it hits shelves August 1st #OwnItEarly #POSITIVITY All my ups and downs! Chapters on why wife almost left me in 2002 (I didn’t blame her) & how I fought to keep her, and 1989 @WSOP Main Event.”
Here are some other tweets coming from some notble pros over the past few days:
Jimmy Fricke
“Attention! To those who knew me when I was relevant: Today I turn 30 years old. How old do you feel? Also, big shout out to those who thought I’d never make it. Chiefly that old woman with the crystal ball in the circus tent.”
Mike Matusow
“I really think I’m cured from politics I haven’t made a political tweet in 10 days i hope a lot longer than that I’m so over it #loveveryone”
Sam Trickett
“Playing some online tournaments for the 1st time in years. I forgot how much fun they can be @partypoker #lovethegame”
