Poker Pros React To Donald Trump Becoming US President

The US Presidential campaign has been running for almost two years, during which time poker players on both sides of the political divide frequently took pot shots at one another on social media. Outspoken critics against Donald Trump included such players as Daniel Negreanu, Vanessa Selbst, and Liv Boeree, while lined up in the opposite camp were the likes of Doyle Brunson, Mike Matusow, and Matt Glantz.
Last night, in one of the biggest upsets in the whole of US history, the people voted to elect Donald Trump to be the country’s 45th president, with the billionaire businessman having successfully persuaded the electorate that he was the right man to tackle the issues of immigration, terrorism, national security, and the economy.
