Lacey Jones Joins Absolute Poker

Lacey Jones couldn’t be more delighted after signing with Absolute Poker this week. Jones has been voted the sexiest girl in poker by Wicked Chops in 2008. She says of the award: “It’s totally flattering and it’s cool that they said I won by a landslide. I’m so honored to have great fans and friends. When I first started, it was a weird reception. Then, people started seeing how I play.”
She has also modelled for Daimler-Chrysler, Carolina Herrera, Max and Co, and Playboy Leather Collection and done film work on such shows as HBO’s “Entourage,” NBC’s “Las Vegas,” and Fox’s “The O.C”.

Jones, however, is as likely to win your chips off you at the poker table as she is likely to bowl you over with her looks. She graduated from the University of Arizona with a BA in Political Science / French, aged 22 and one day would like to practice Law.
Lacey first started playing poker whilst a young girl on family vacations at their beach house in South Carolina. Her first real break came when she was hired as a model to play at a tournament on ESPN in the Morning charity event for cystic fibrosis, which incidentally her uncle had died from.
Having caught the eye of Absolute Poker by her better than expected result, she was contacted by Mark Seif who offered to give her poker training if she would agree to represent them at further poker tournaments.
Jones’s poker career so far includes a 32nd-place finish out of a 360-player field at a invitational celebrity tournament, a 75th-place finish in the WSOP Ladies Championship in 2006 and a second-place finish at the 2004 San Diego Super Bowl of Poker.
Jones is very pleased with her signing with Absolute Poker and said: “I’m so excited about this amazing new chapter of my career with Absolute Poker. Our fit couldn’t be more perfect and I can’t wait to share all of the amazing stuff that’s in store with the AP community.”
