Jason Koon Signs with Partypoker

Jason Koon Signs with PartypokerPartypoker has just announced the addition of Jason Koon to its team of ambassador, with the site’s only US-based player also given a seat on its Player’s Advisory Council. The players signing is one of a number of additions that comes in recent months as partypoker attempts to better satisfy the needs of its customers, while increasing its market share relative to PokerStars.
Jason Koon is currently ranked at number 57 on poker’s “All Time Money List,” having amassed $10,000,545 in live winning since his first cash back in 2008. Furthermore, Koon has earned $3,507,765 this year alone, making it his most successful to date, helped along by victory at the $100,000 PokerStars Championship Bahamas Super High Roller for $1,650,300.
The player is now expected to make his first appearance wearing a partypoker patch at the Caribbean Poker Party Festival in the Dominican Republic from November 9th to 25th, where he will have plenty of opportunities to add further to his winnings. In the meantime, commenting upon his new role as a partypoker ambassador, Koon stated:
“partypoker is making some major moves to improve the entire poker ecosystem, both live and online, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to be joining them and playing a part in these endeavors. Seeing partypoker’s hunger to grow – as well as its interest in what players have to say – was the main selling point for me and I’m excited to see what the future holds.”
As partypoker continues to make inroads in both the live and online poker arena, the site has recruited an ever-expanding team of pros to help promote its brand. This includes the likes of players such as Fedor Holz, Sam Trickett, Patrick Leonard, Joao Simao and Johnny Lodden, as well as celebrities from outside the poker world, such as Boris Becker and Carl Froch.
Many of these players have been given a seat at partypoker’s Player’s Advisory Council, which aims to ensure that the poker community’s voice is heard loud and clear, and as the site explains:
“partypoker’s player panel will facilitate detailed feedback sessions with the wider poker community and ensure players’ opinions are heard within the company. The initiative is part of partypoker’s strong commitment to stay close to the poker-playing community and make decisions which will be welcomed by players and have their best interests at heart.”
