IveyPoker Roster Grows To 24 Pros

IveyPoker Roster Grows To 24 ProsInstructional poker site IveyPoker seems to have missed its touted start date of January 14th, with no new launch date having yet been released. Meanwhile, the main news coming from IveyPoker.com is the ever expanding roster of pros who have thrown their lot in with the high-stakes poker legend.
That tally has now reached new heights as the latest addition of Ronnie Bardah, Matthew Frankland, and Kevin Vandersmissen brings the overall total of professionals on the site to 24, including Phil Ivey himself.
US pro Ronnie Bardah has amassed $753,699 in live tournament earnings since 2004, with his biggest cashes coming at the WSOP in Las Vegas. In 2010, Bardah finished 24th in the 10k WSOP Main Event for $317,161, and in 2012 captured his first bracelet in the $2,500 Limit Hold’em Six Handed event for $182,088.
Belgium’s Kevin Vandersmissen has been on fire since cashing in at his first live tournament in 2010 and has so far amassed an impressive $1,477,258 in earnings. Counted amongst his accolades is a 2nd place finish at the 2011 EPT Snowfest Main Event for $368,601, and victory at the 2012 Irish Open for $553,316.
Finally, UK’s Mathew Frankland only cashed in at his first live tournament in 2009 and now has $398,627 in live earnings to his name. Frankland’s biggest score came in 2010 at the £3,500 English Poker Open, where he finished 3rd for £77,400 ($119,409). At the 2011 WSOP Man Event, he also finished 121st out of 6,865 players for a $54,851 payday.
These three new recruits will now add their expertise to IveyPoker, which proudly announced a few months ago that it would be the best venue to go to in order to “learn how to play the correct way.” Other pros also representing the new training website include such notable players as Patrik Antonius, Jennifer Harman, James Dempsey, Cole South, Greg Merson, Josh Brikis and Christian Harder.
