German Pro Natalie Hof Joins Team PokerStarsThe world biggest poker room, PokerStars, has just announced the addition of German professional poker player Natalie Hof to its roster of pros. Natalie will now join the site’s ‘Friends of PokerStars’ team, an eclectic group of celebrities including big names from entertainment and sports, who all share a love for the game of poker. Recognizable big names already featured in the line-up include pro gamer and writer Charlotte Van Brabander, and Spanish soccer legend Poli Rincon.
Commenting on her new sponsorship deal with the online poker giant, Natalie Hof, explained: “Since I started playing poker I dreamed of becoming a member of Team PokerStars. I enjoyed working as a presenter, and now I am more honored to represent PokerStars.de at the tables.”
Originally, Natalie Hof started out as a presenter for the European Poker Tour but not content to sit on the sidelines for long subsequently made the transition to playing tournaments in her downtime. Natalie Hof’s first live cash then came in December, 2011, where she finished 4th at the €300 EPT Prague for €4,900 ($6,561), followed a few days later by a 3rd place finish at the €300 EPT Prague Ladies Event for €1,300 ($1,741).
Since then, Hof has gone from strength to strength and this year finished  runner-up at the €300 Eureka Rozvadov for €12,059 ($15,766), before then recording her biggest ever cash at the €5,000 EPT Berlin Main Event, eventually finishing in 39th place for an €18,000 ($23,595) payday.
In addition, Natalie Hof has tasted success online with her past accomplishments including winning $2,000 playing an $11 deepstack tournament, as well as a $5,000 cash at PokerStars Big $109 earlier this year.
Now as a “Friend of PokerStars”, Natalie will have the opportunity to represent PokerStars both online and at various tournaments across the world, and describing her aspirations for the future, Natalie, said: “I am looking forward to playing more major events and traveling the world. I have no expectations but I will give my best and try hard to get a title everyone dreams of. Also, I hope that as a Friend of PokerStars.de, I can be an inspiration to women and encourage them to take up the game.”
