Full Tilt Poker Signs Annette "Annette_15" Obrestad

Norwegian poker pro Annette Obrestad has become the latest player to join Full Tilt Poker and will now take her place amongst other members of the ‘Full Tilt Pros’ stable.
Obrestad’s previous sponsor was Betfair, who had snapped her up after she won the World Series of Poker Europe in 2007. However, Full Tilt had their  eyes on the young rising star even then, and finally managed to secure their own sponsorship deal with her on May 1, 2010.
Commenting on the move, Annette said:
“I am very excited about joining Full Tilt Poker. It’s been my favorite poker rooms for years and I’m proud to be part of such a great group of players.”
Known by her online handle “Annette_15” , the 21 year-old started her poker career playing online and managed to build a bankroll after success playing in a few freerolls. She was then able between September 2006 and February 2007, to notch up  $500,000 in wins at Pokerstars, $200,000 on UltimateBet, and $136,000 on Full Tilt Poker. She has continued winning ever since, and has now amassed millions of dollars from her online endeavours.
Aside from the virtual felts, Annette Obrestad further staked her claim as one of the most talented young pros on the scene by winning the inaugural WSOP Europe Main Event on Sept. 17, 2007 for £1 million. As of today, with over $3,075,000 in live tournament wins, Annette sits in top spot of Norway’s live tournament all-time money list.
Despite winning the WSOP Europe Main Event, Annette has been too young to  compete in the American version of the tournament, up until this year. The 21  year-old is now looking forward to sporting her new Full Tilt Poker gear and heading to Las Vegas for the 2010 WSOP.
“You have no idea how long I’ve been waiting for the World Series of Poker.  Well, pretty much three years. And I’ve been in Vegas every year  watching my friends play, hearing about how bad the players are. It was terrible!,”  she said.
