Fedor Holz Now a Member of Team Partypoker

Fedor Holz Now a Member of Team PartypokerDespite announcing his semi-retirement from poker more than a year ago, Fedor Holz has been as active as ever at the poker tables and so far this year has amassed an impressive $3,033,701 in live winnings. Now, Germany’s all time money winner with $23,354,884 in live earnings has decided to use his poker knowledge and business skills to help raise the profile of partypoker after officially being signed to the site as a sponsored pro.
“From this month on I’ll partner with @partypoker. I’m excited about their plans for the future of poker and I’m happy to be part of it,” tweeted Holz.
The 24 year-old pro will be in good company at partypoker, too, which currently sits at number 4 on the global online traffic report with a 24 hour peak of 2,346 cash players. After all, Team partypoker already boasts the likes of such players as Sam Trickett, Dzmitry Urbanovich, Anatoly Filatov, and Jonny Lodden.
Furthermore, partypoker has designs on wrestling more market share away from PokerStars, which controls around 70% of the world global online poker market. Having a world-class player like Holz join its ranks will obviously help the site in its endeavor and as Jesse Manners tweeted after news of Holz’s appointment had been released:
“This just might get me to switch from Stars to Party.”
Amongst the many accolades that Holz has won since booking his first tournament cash in 2012 was winning a WSOP bracelet in 2016, after taking down the $111,111 High Roller for One Drop for a $4,981,775 payday, representing his biggest score to date. That was the year Holz then went on to enjoy one of the biggest tears in the history of live tournaments, eventually notching up $16,484,154 in winnings, including capturing a total of six event titles.
