Danish Pro Theo Jorgensen Joins Team PokerStars Pro
October 27, 2010 8:51 amPokerStars have just announced the addition of Danish professional Theo Jorgensen to their stable of Team PokerStars Pros.
Jorgensen turned pro in 1993, and since the 38-year-old took up tournament poker in 2004 he has amassed $2,459,967 in live tournament winnings, in addition to his online earnings.
Jorgensen’s achievements include famously capturing a WSOP bracelet at the 2008 WSOPE PLO event for $434,040, as well as a WPT title in May this year at the WPT Grand Prix de Paris for $879,898. He was also chip leader for a while at the 2010 WSOP Main Event, eventually being eliminated in 30th spot for a $255,242 payday.
There is no denying Theo Jorgensen is on a roll after accumulating $1.1 million from live tournaments this year, and will now start flying the PokerStars colours starting on November 4th at the Nordic Championship of Online Poker.

In the past, Theo Jorgensen has been a regularly at Full Tilt Poker’s $200/400 cash games playing under the name THEDONKEYNO1, but says he is now looking forward to joining PokerStars:
