Daniel Negreanu Now Dating Miss Hungary Krisztina Polgár

This year, Daniel Negreanu may have had one of his most frustrating WSOPs in recent times, having cashed three times for just $77,047, but it wasn’t a total washout for the 37 year-old Canadian pro who took home a different prize all together from Las Vegas.
It now turns out Negreanu met his current girlfriend, Hungarian FHM model Krisztina Polgar, while playing at the 2011 WSOP. Celebrated for being ‘Miss Earth Hungary 2008,’ the 24 year old beauty also learnt to play poker from ex-boyfriend Hungarian PokerStars pro Richard Toth. However, despite busting out on Day 1C of the Main Event, the Hungarian beauty was then seen to be doing a fine job adding some extra glamour to the rail, “sweating everyone from Daniel Negreanu to some random Euros,” as reported by Wicked Chops on 12th, July.
Confirming his latest romance, Negreanu explained during an interview:
“I met my new girlfriend at the World Series. She plays poker too. She just came up; she was just saying ‘Hi’ cause she knew some friends and stuff. So, we just started, you know, hitting it off, and she’s super cool. She lives in Budapest, Hungary. She was Miss Earth Hungary in 2008. She’s there now, but I’m gonna go visit in a bit.”
Daniel Negreanu’s super hot new girlfriend will certainly spoil the fun of Mike Matusow and Matt Savage, who recently had some fun at Negreanu’s expense by joking about him being gay. Their comments also seem a bit out of place considering he was married to Lori Lin Weber between August 2005 and November 2007, and has since been romantically involved with Evelyn Ng and Amanda Leatherman.
