Brian Hastings Partners With Multi Action Poker
August 19, 2015 11:36 amFollowing the signings of Michael Mizrachi, Jennifer Harman, and Kristy Arnett, Multi Action Poker (MAP) has now announced that Brian Hastings has joined its team of sponsored professional poker players. For those not familiar with the company, MAP enables a player to multi-table at just one live casino table by merging two poker tables into one, complete with two dealers, two decks of cards, and two separate chips stacks.
Multi Action Poker creator, Tim Frazin, came up with the idea while playing a home game of Pot-Limit Omaha, and as he recalled at the time, “the hands were taking forever. I was bored out of my mind.” In 2012, Frazin eventually decided to do something about it by introducing his innovative concept designed to result in more hands, constant action, and maximum engagement for the players.
Needless to say, Multi Action Poker has already received interest from casinos who see the benefit of earning double the rake they normally make from using just one poker table. In May, the Isle of Capri Casino in Pompano Beach, Florida then became the first casino to adopt Multi Action Poker, with the casino’s Director of Poker Stan Strickland saying that it’s an “exciting game”, and that he sees it “continuing to grow in popularity in the future”.
The company’s latest signing, Brian Hastings certainly seems to agree with him, too, and commenting on the game explained: “The action is fast and furious and players get significantly more hands per hour. MAP is an online poker player’s live poker dream game.”
Brian Hastings is one of the most successful poker players in the world with 3-WSOP bracelets and $2,283,321 in live tournament earning to his name. In addition, the 27 year-old has won more than $6,350,000 playing cash games online, and as Tim Frazin explains:
“Brian is the ideal person to bridge online play and live MAP play. Furthermore, Brian’s character, integrity, and outward focus is in alignment with our company philosophy of win-win.”
