BERRI SWEET and Isildur1 Winning Big at PokerStars
August 16, 2017 1:31 pmThe high stakes cash game action on PokerStars has been hotting up of late, with those players making the most of the action being Swedish pro Viktor ‘Isildur1’ Blom, and an unknown player called BERRI SWEET. On the other side of the coin, however, Dani ‘supernova9’ Stern and Lrslzk are having a year so far that they would much rather forget.
Leading the profit count in 2017 is BERRI SWEET, who has managed to amass +$1,352,952 in winning over 28,508 hands played, with Omaha PL being his most played game. As a result, he now boasts +$1,913,871 in online earnings at PokerStars.
Not far behind, though, is everyone’s favorite aggressive online maniac, Viktor ‘Isildur1’ Blom, who at one stage was in profit by $1.93 million for the year, but has since shed a sizeable chunk to reach his present level of +$1,101,523. Consequently, Bloom is showing a healthy overall profit of +$2,612,694 on PokerStars since joining the site back in 2011.
Meanwhile, Dani ‘supernova9’ Stern entered 2017 having lost around $700k on PokerStars since 2104, and this year has managed to lose a further -$777,373, in the process doubling his overall losses on the site to around -$1,439,781.
Next biggest loser in 2017 is Finnish player Sami ‘Lrslzk’ Kelopuro, currently down by $492,667, followed by Dan ‘Jungleman’ Cates, or ‘w00ki3z’ as he is known as on PokerStars, in the red by $374,035 so far this year. Needless to say, the pro is not having the best time of things, and recently fired criticism at both PokerStars’ bot-finding security, and Isildur1 as a player.
Nevertheless, Cates is still showing a career profit of $971,937 on PokerStars since he first took to the site in 2011, following the decline of Full Tilt. Before most of the pros headed over to PokerStars, Cates was enjoying an unprecedented run on the site, having notched up $10,270,847 in winnings over a four-year period.
