PKR Teams Up With Xhilarate To Massage Poker Profits

The high tech poker company, PKR, in consideration of the ailments suffered by poker players during live play have announced a partnership with professional poker massage therapists, Xhilarate which will see the company being the sole supplier of massages at all PKR events.
Hours spent hunched over the poker table combined with the stress and concentration requirements of high pressure tournament play can often create tension in the neck, shoulders and back areas of the players.
With the benefits of massage well known, and Xhilarate promising their service will leave the contestant ‘feeling revitalised and re-energised whilst they play…and help to relieve tiredness and improve concentration’ it is hard to see how any poker player could resist the edge this might give them over the opposition.
Xhilarate have been keen to emphasise that they are fully aware of the concentration required from poker players and that their service involves very little disruption to the player or competitors, massages are not courted but have to be requested first and are paused during show downs.
The ‘Xhilarate Experience’ involves an 8 minute massage from a fully qualified therapist conversant in many techniques including ‘Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, Thai Massage, and On-Site Chair Massage’ with costs ranging from just £1 per minute.
The masseuses have already good experience of poker environments having worked at several high ranking tournaments including the WSOPE (World Series Of Poker Europe) and will next offer their services on August 13th and 14th at the Poker in the Park Festival.
PKR Marketing Manager Erika Schwartz said of their new partnership with Xhilarate: “Nothing quite compares to the glamour and style of the Xhilarate girls and their massages. We believe they fit in perfectly with our image and will provide some much needed relief and refreshment to our players when playing away from the computer screens and on the live circuit.”
