PokerStars Revamping VIP Program in 2010
December 26, 2009 5:40 pm has announced that players are going to be noticing differences in their VIP program starting on January 1st. PokerStars asked VIP players to help by offering suggestions through the VIP player panel.
Players are now going to be earning better rewards because it is now easier to earn points. Their points system has been completely revamped so you don’t have to figure it out.
It will also be easier to attain VIP status, players will now only need 750 VPP’s instead of 1,2000 to attain SilverStar VIP Status. There is also going to be a new addition to the VIP program.
PokerStars is introducing VIP Stellar Rewards, all rewards are awarded automatically and players will get a cash bonus every time they hit one of the 19 VPP marks. There are still more rewards that can be earned in the VIP Steller Rewards program, such as cash and other prizes.
There is also going to be a $1 million dollar freeroll held on the first Saturday at 2pm EST in February, May, August and November. This freeroll is only for GoldStar and higher VIP’s.
New players are eligible for a bonus of 100% up to $600 dollars on their first deposit.
