PokerStars Crowns 7th Millionaire Spin & Go Winner in Just One Month

PokerStars Crowns 7th Millionaire Spin & Go Winner in Just One MonthPokerStars launched its Sit & Go tournaments back in September 2014, and to help celebrate its one year anniversary the site subsequently announced it would be running a $1 million Spin & Go promotion starting October 19th and running until the end of November. It didn’t take long for the promotion to get off to a cracking start, either, and between October 21st and 28th an incredible six players became instant millionaires.
Since then there has been a lull in the action, but on November 21st the hiatus ended after “Koovoon” became the seventh player to join the group of lucky winners. The Canadian man had been playing a $100 buy-in Spin & Go at the time, and as a PokerStars statement later explained, the tournament lasted just 39 hands, with Koovoon, after doubling up “with pocket Jacks on the seventh hand”, staying the dominant chip leader throughout most of the game.
Koovoon was not the only player to walk away from the 9 minute Spin & Go with a massively boosted bankroll though, as Russian runners up “AndyG1810” and “Play2win$1kk” also picked-up $100,000 a piece for competing at the table. On the last hand of the tournament, Koovoon (Ac-4d) moved all-in preflop, and was called by AndyG1810 holding Kd-Js, with the 2d-Ah-6d-3c-6s board subsequently sealing the deal.
The full list of PokerStars players who have won a million dollar Spin & Go prize as part of the latest one year celebration is as follows:
Nov 21: Koovoon (Canada) from a $100 tournament
Oct 28: ifipushud325 (Australia) from a $5 tournament

Oct 25: prophethicks (England) from a $5 tournament
Oct 22: wrawras (Brazil) from a $100 tournament

In total, 12 players have now won a million dollars playing Spin & Go tournaments since the revolutionary new format was launched a little over a year ago.
