PartyPoker Welcomes Kara Scott As Newest Member of “Team Party”

Kara Scott has just been named as the latest addition to PartyPoker’s “Team Party,” and will receive buy-ins and represent the site at various poker tournaments around the world, including in her country of origin Canada, where she will compete in a number of Canadian Poker Tour (CPT) events.
Kara’s other duties will include hosting, a role she is most familiar with having worked in and around the industry for many years. She recently helped present the European Poker Tour (EPT) and World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) and has now been chosen to replace AJ Benza on GSN’s upcoming hit show ‘High Stakes Poker.’ 
Following the announcement, Kara said: “It is fantastic to have signed a deal to join Team Party. It works perfectly for me as I get the opportunity to further improve my game on the live circuit as well as carrying on presenting. I’m so excited about the future.”
Kara has certainly shown her credentials as a poker player, and has enjoyed success throughout her poker career having earned $537,797 from live tournament including her biggest victory to date, a second place finish at the 2009 Irish Open for an impressive $443,594 pay day.
She now takes her place amongst the other PartyPoker “Team Party” members, which include Mike Sexton, Remy Biechel, Ian Frazer, Felipe “Mojave” Ramos, Stewart Scott, and Bodo Sbrzesny.
PartyPoker were delighted with their new signing, and a spokesman for the site commented: “Kara is a great signing and we are really looking forward to working with her. She has historic links with PartyPoker.com after taking down the Sports Stars Challenge III and we have been super impressed by her progress since then. As well as being a great presenter, Kara is also a fantastic player with great results and the potential to go even further. We are excited about this new relationship.”
