Intertops Poker adding big money to Sunday tournaments in March

Intertops Poker has you covered on select Sundays in March if you’re looking for big money tournaments to play from home.

So if coronavirus fears or an actual outbreak has you at home instead of at your local casino, don’t worry.

Intertops Poker announced this week that they’re more than doubling the guaranteed money in their regular Sunday Sundowner tournaments on Sunday March 8 and 22. The Sunday Sundowner regularly has a guaranteed prize pool of $4,500. On March 8 and 22 the prize pool is getting bumped up to $10,000.

Each tournament will have a $110 buy-in and begin at 4:15 p.m. ET. Each player will have a starting stack of 10,000 chips with 15 minute blinds.

If you don’t have a spare $110 in your Intertops Poker bankroll you can get into the Sunday Sundowner much cheaper through a satellite qualifier for as little as $1.

Thursday to Saturday at 2:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. first step qualifiers will run with a tiny $1 buy-in. In each tournament there will be at least three guaranteed seats to Step 2 available. In Step 2, which you can also buy-in to directly for $12, there will be at least two guaranteed seats in the Sunday Sundowner up for grabs.

That isn’t the only way to qualify for the Sunday Sundowner. On Saturday’s there are also a $7 Turbo tournament with at least two seats guaranteed to be available. Also on Sunday there are four different Turbo tournament satellites to the Sunday Sundowner with buy-ins ranging from $2 to $12.
