Zack’s first win at the 2022 WSOP came earlier this month in Event 15: $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship. In that event Zack bested a 196-player field to cash $440,757.
Zack’s career WSOP bracelet total now sits at three following his two wins this year. He recorded his first WSOP win back in 2019 in the $2,500 Limit Mixed Triple Draw tournament. In that event Zack was the last man standing from a 296-player field and he cashed $160,447.
The 29-year-old poker pro has recorded cashes in 88 WSOP events in his career for a total of $2,170,761. He also has a WSOP Championship ring, which he won at a WSOP Circuit event at Caesars Palace in 2014. That event was a $1,125 No-Limit Tournament, where he topped a 158-player field to cash $42,662.
Not surprisingly, thanks to his two wins Zack has an early lead in the World Series of Poker Player of the Year (POY) Standings. Including his two wins, Zack has recorded seven cashes at the 2022 WSOP so far, worth $906,150. That includes another final table appearance in the $1,000 Pot-Limit Omaha 8-Handed tournament in which he finished third.
Zack leads the POY standings with 2981.36 points. That puts him 396.43 points ahead of Daniel Weinman who currently sits in second place thanks to one win, two final tables and 10 cashes at this year’s WSOP.
