BetOnline Poker Bounty Hunter Series coming

Prepare to start collecting bounties at BetOnline Poker later this month in the Bounty Hunter Poker Series.

The Bounty Hunter Poker Series runs from August 22 to 28 and as the names suggests all the events in the series are PKO tournaments. There are 36 events on the schedule and they all have a 50/50 buy-in with half going to the prize pool and the other half the bounty on your heads for other players to collect for knocking you out.

How does BetOnline Poker Bounty Hunter Series work?

Throughout the series there are five events per day, except on the final day when there are six. To give you a taste of what you can expect here’s a look at the schedule from Day 1 – Monday, August 22.

Event 1 – $2,000 guaranteed – $6.60 buy-in – 8 max
Event 2 – $4,000 guaranteed – $33 buy-in – 7 max

Event 3 – $5,000 guaranteed – $109 buy-in – 6 max

Event 4 – $3,000 guaranteed – $22 buy-in – 6 max

Event 5 – $2,000 guaranteed – $11 buy-in – 8 max

If you’re a high roller block off Tuesday, August 23 on your calendar. The biggest buy-in of the series is on the schedule that day. It’s a $6,000 guaranteed 6 max tournament with a $215 buy-in.

The Bounty Hunter Series Main Event takes place on the final day, Sunday, August 28. The Main Event has an affordable $22 buy-in and a $50,000 guarantee.

Throughout the Bounty Hunter Series knocking out players will earn you more than just bounty money. Each night at 12 a.m. during the series is a special $1,000 Bounty Hunter Shootout. Your starting chip stack in the Shootout will be determined by how many players you knockout in the day’s events. Here’s how the chip allocations work.

1-5 Knockouts = 1 starting chip
6-10 Knockouts = 3 starting chips

11-20 Knockouts = 5 starting chips

21 or more Knockouts = 10 starting chips
