888Poker Trails of Fortune launched summer 2020

888poker is delivering another promotion this summer, announcing their Trails of Fortune series with $500,000 in “extreme prizes” available.

The series is on now and runs until August 9. The series works a little differently than 888poker’s other series. Instead of a set schedule of tournaments, Trails of Fortune includes a weekly $30,000 tournament, a Cash Peaks freeroll, a Blast Heights Freeroll and daily challenges.

All these tournaments are freerolls with no buy-in, but to earn entry into any of them you must complete daily challenges.

These daily challenges include the Tournament Trek Challenge, the Casino Adventure Challenge and the KQ Cliffside Path Challenge. Here’s how each challenge works.

In the Tournament Trek Challenge players simply play tournaments to earn free roll tickets. Each tournament played with a buy-in of $3 counts toward their Tournament Trek Challenge total. Log on to the 888poker client to see which tournaments get you on the trek to freeroll tickets.

The Casino Adventure Challenge is quite simple. Place bets totaling $5 in 888poker casino games to earn freeroll tickets.

The KQ Cliffside Path challenge is the simplest but hardest to control of the three challenges. In this challenge players earn freeroll tickets by winning a hand in a cash game with King-Queen. The cash game must have a minimum stake of $0.02/$0.05.

Now that you know about the challenge lets look at the tournaments you can use your freeroll tickets on.

The $30,000 888Summit tournament runs weekly and is divided into two days. To get into a Day 1 tournament, which run daily at 2:15 p.m., 6:15 p.m. and 11:15 p.m. GMT, you must complete one of the daily challenges. If you can survive a Day 1 tournament you advance onto Day 2 which is played once a week on Sunday at 8:15 p.m. GMT.

The Cash Peaks Freeroll runs daily at 5:15 p.m. GMT. Players start with 3000 chips and the blinds go up every three minutes. The guaranteed prize pool in the daily freeroll is $1000.

The Blast Heights Freeroll runs daily at 4:15 p.m. GMT. In this freeroll tournament the prize isn’t money, it’s $5 Blast Tickets. There are a guaranteed 200 of them available in each freeroll. With these tickets players can enter BLAST jackpot sit and go tournaments. The prize pool in these BLAST tournaments can be as high as $1,000,000.
