$16 Million Up For Grabs At FullTiltPoker FTOPS XIII

From August 5th to the 16th 2009 Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) will be running 25 events and offering around $16 million as a guaranteed prize pool.
As you would expect the majority of the events scheduled are No Limit Hold ‘em,but also featured along with the heads up and rebuy competitions are knockout, shootout, and turbo tournaments. Another welcome competition making its return is the Mini FTOPS,where players can enter various events but at only one tenth of the normal price.
The highlight of the Mini FTOPS is the Main Event whereby for $50 + $5 buy-in tournament players will be given entry into a tournament with a prize pool of $500k guaranteed.
Other poker variants to be featured during this 11 day event are Omaha, Pot Limit Omha/Pot Limit Hold ‘em, and Razz.
A special online Ante Up for Africa will be making a first appearance at this years FullTiltPoker FTOPS, and just like the live tournament version hosted by  Annie Duke and Don Cheadle, all the proceeds will be donated to charity, specifically to help relief for the people of civil war torn Darfur. Entry will cost $100 + $20 with a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool.
The most anticipated of all the FTOPS events is aimed at the high stakes players where for a $2,500 + $120 buy-in a $2 million prize is guaranteed for the winner. Finally, the last day of this extravaganza will host the $500 + $35 buy-in with an impressive guaranteed prize of $2,500,000.
Throughout the event satellites will be running for the various competitions, and there is an added incentive to enter with the FTOPS Satellite Challenge whereby players who qualify via satellites, excluding their first entry, will receive cash amounts equal to the buy in for that competition.
There are a multitude of other incentives posted on the FullTiltPoker site, including a prize for finishing top of the FTOPS Leaderboard, and all in all this 11 day event promises to be a fun filled and potentially lucrative experience.
