The World Series of Poker Online Series dates were announced earlier this week for both domestic US players and international players.
Earlier this month the WSOP announced dates for the US-facing portion of the 2021 WSOP Online Series, but at that time they did not reveal dates for the international series. For those who missed it, the US-facing portion of the WSOP Online will be held on WSOP.com for players in Nevada and New Jersey from July 1 to August 1.
The day the US events conclude the international-facing events will begin on GGPoker. The international series is scheduled to run on GGPoker from August 1 to September.
The two series will feature 66 events combined with 66 WSOP bracelets available to be won. Each series, the US and international will include 33 events and 33 WSOP bracelets. Full details on the individual events, buy-ins and guaranteed prize pools for both the US and international series will be released at a later date.
The international series dates weren’t the only thing the WSOP announced this week. Also coming to GGPoker in May is the new WSOP Super Circuit Online Series. It runs from May 1 to 31 with 18 WSOP Circuit gold rings available to be won.
The series will also award WSOP Circuit rings in cash games for the first time. Cash game specialists will be invited to participate in the No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha final-table only events. Who gets the invites will be determined by leaderboard standings.
One final announcement coming from the WSOP this week was new online satellite tournaments to the 2021 World Series of Poker $10,000 Main Event in November. These special satellites will be run on WSOP.com and GGPoker starting in August.
