Czech Players Enjoying Huge Home Advantage at 2017 WSOPE

The World Series of Poker Europe is returning to the King’s Resort in Rozvadov, Czech Republic from October 26 to November 15.

The 2022 WSOP Europe will include 15 events with €12 million in guaranteed money available throughout. That is approximately $12.2 million US right now.

Buy-ins at the WSOP Europe range from €350 to €50,0000. The biggest draw will likely be the €10,000 Main Event which is scheduled to run from November 11 to 16. Last year’s WSOP Europe Main Event had a record 688 entries and a prize pool of €6.5 million. The winner of last year’s Main Event was Josef Gulas Jr. He captured his first WSOP bracelet and the €1.2 million first prize.

While announcing the WSOP Europe schedule the WSOP also announced new events for the WSOP Circuit International Series. Throughout the final quarter of 2022 and the first half of 2023 the International Circuit will play 10 events in 10 different counties. This will include stops in the Czech Republic, Aruba, Mexico, Brazil, Australia, Holland, Uruguay, Canada, Morocco, and St. Maarten. The WSOP is also expected to add more stops later in the season.

WSOPE 2015 Main Event: Day 1a/1b Winners And Losers

The WSOP Europe has concluded with former professional basketball player Max Neugebauer taking down the main event. This year’s €10,350 main event set a new WSOP Europe record with an 817-player field. That topped last year’s record-setting 763 players. The record player pool in 2023 easily surpassed the €5 million guaranteed prize with a €7,761,500.
