Will Any Top Pros Be Heading To Nude Poker Tournament?

The French Riviera resort of Cap d’Agde is celebrating in style 40 years of the town’s casino by organising a massive nude poker tournament.
The large fenced-off naturist part of the resort named ‘Village Naturiste’ is a hub for nudists from all around the world, and the beautiful seaside resort sees its visitor numbers swell to over 40,000 people during the peak summer period.
Although playing poker in the nude may not be to everyone’s taste, for the residents of Village Naturiste they wouldn’t have it any other way. It would certainly make reading your opponent’s body language a lot easier, and a quick peek under the table is all you’d need to tell if he’s raising you light or not.
The poker tournament is being arranged as a collaborationh between the Union of Professionals of Naturist Tourism and Cap d’Agde casino, and although no exact date has been set yet, it is known it will have a 150 Euros buy-in entry fee.
At this point in time it is not known whether any of the top pros such as Doyle Brunson or Annette Obrestad will be heading to take part in the event, although you would imagine with their assets they would have a distinct advantage over the mostly amateur field.
Other pros who could fit in quite well at the nude poker tournament, would be Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Jennifer Harman and Scotty Nguyen, who all posed nude for ESPN The Magazine’s Body Issue in 2009.
Jennifer Harman agreed to the photo shoot after being assured it would be done tastefully, and Negreanu twice declined before finally accepting after he discovered Patrik Antonius wouldn’t be there.
If there are any pros you think should be heading to Cap d’Agde and why, please be sure to let us know.
