Poker Pros Lindgren And Schoenberg Marry In Florida

Poker’s golden couple Erick Lindgren, 34, and Erica Schoenberg, 33, have finally tied the knot after dating for over a year.
The US couple are now officially an item having got married in Santa Barbara, Florida on Saturday and in addition to the family and friends attending their big day was also a slew of notable pros. These included Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Dave Stann and Daniel Alaei.
Many other players unable to attend the ceremony posted their best wishes via Twitter. These included one from Kara Scott, which simply stated
“Big congratulations to @EdogPoker & @thehitwoman getting married today in beautiful Santa Barbara.”
Originally the gorgeous Erica Schoenberg was a model and professional volleyball player before later becoming a Full Tilt Poker sponsored pro. She has since gone on to earn $805,337 from live tournaments.
Erick Lindgren, too, had dreams of playing sports professionally but instead devoted much of his free time to playing at the local casinos. This proved to be an extremely lucrative decision as “E-Dog” as he is known, has now earned $7,808,459 from live tournaments, including winning a WSOP bracelet in 2008 at the $5,000 Mixed Hold’em event.
Together, Erick Lindgren and Erica Schoenberg have now become one of the most celebrated couples in poker, along with Vanessa Rousso and Chad Brown, and Chip and Karina Jett.
As to where the couple will be heading for their honeymoon. Well where else would a newly married poker-playing couple choose at this time of year other than the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.
The prestigious competition gets underway today and here’s wishing the couple plenty of luck at the tournament to compliment their memorable day.
