Isildur1 Back In Profit $1.2 million After $679k Winning Night

The action was fast and furious at Full Tilt Poker last night as the Swede Isildur1 continued his battle with Patrik Antonius at $500/$1,000 Pot-Limit Omaha.
Full Tilt’s poker client must have been working overtime as an army of poker fans gathered to watch the latest high stakes action and they were not disappointed as they were treated to some truly spectacular play.
Antonius got off to the worst possible start having dropped almost $1.6 million in the initial 45 minutes of play and so had to battle hard to recoup some of his losses.
His plight wasn’t helped much, either, after finding himself on the wrong end of a $555,000 pot. Isildur1 held a nut straight on the turn to Antonius’ two pair, and with all the money in the centre of the table there were no surprises on the river for the Fin as he watched the money get shipped across to his mystery opponent.
All in all, the entire session was an exciting and aggressive affair which lasted 12 hours and 38 minutes with 5,028 hands being played. There were a total of twenty three pots over $400,000 and by the time the poker pros quit the game it was Isuldur1 who was the victor to the tune of $679,000.
Isildur1 has been on a bit of a rocky ride recently, and has seen his fortunes wane since hitting his peak at almost $6 million in the black a few weeks back. Last Saturday saw any of his remaining profits disipate after losing  $3.3 million over nine hours, mostly to Phil Ivey and Patrik Antonius, and had the poker community wondering if they had witnessed the Swedes ‘swan song.’
Isildur1’s latest win boosts his Full Tilt profit up to $1.2 million and shows he isn’t ready to roll over just yet.
