Durrrr Challenge II: Jungleman12 Has Massive $320k Winning Session

Not only has Jungleman12 had a great start to 2011 but he has also managed to pull even further ahead of Tom Dwan, after winning $319,103 off him in the latest session of their Durrrr Challenge II.
Monday night saw the duo put in a marathon six hour session of $200/$400 heads-up NL, during which time 2,918 hands were played and several six-figure pots were contested.
The biggest pot of the night was worth a massive $216,506 and was won by Dan “jungleman12” Cates  after both players made a flush on the turn, but with Cates holding Jh-2h to Dwan’s 4h-5h.
However, the second biggest pot was won by Dwan after being dealt Ah-10h on the big blind to Cates’ 8c-7d. Cates raised Dwan’s blind to $800 and called Dwan’s re-raise to $2,400. Dwan then lead out for $3,200 on the 8h-Qc-7c flop only to be re-raised to $8,800 by Cates who now had two pair.
A Kh on the turn then had Dwan check-calling Cates’ $18,400 bet into the $22,400 pot, and a 3h on the river made Dwan’s flush, who then cannily checked the river and called Cates’ all-in bet for his remaining $60,971.
Despite Dwan winning the $181k pot, and another worth $144k when he hit a straight, Jungleman12 in addition to his $216,506 pot, took down others worth $157k and $131k to close out the session up by an impressive $319,103.
With around 17k of their 50k challenge now played, Jungleman12 is presently ahead by $819,213 and looking increasingly likely to win the additional $1.5 million bet offered by Dwan as part of the challenge.
Jungleman12 started his poker career in 2008 playing $0.25/$0.50 heads up cash games,. Since then the online prodigy has meteorically risen through the various stakes and ended 2010 as the highest earning cash player on Full Tilt with $5.5 million in profits.
