Caesars Entertainment’s flagship property on the Las Vegas strip, Caesars Palace is fully open for poker again.

Caesars Palace Las Vegas reopened their poker room earlier this week in its previous location with a few upgrades. The poker room originally closed in July 2024 due to renovations in the high-limit slots area. While under renovation the high-limit slots were moved to the closed poker room.

A temporary poker room opened near the retail shopping area in Caesars in May, in a smaller area than the old poker room. Despite rumors that the poker room would remain in its new location next to retail, the poker room returned to its former location, next to the sportsbook following the completion of the renovations to the high-limit slots area.

Upon reopening the poker room in its old location Caesars announced a few upgrades, including new ergonomic chairs, a more spacious layout in the room, better lighting and new décor throughout the room, and clear views to the Sportsbook TV screens.

The poker room reopening is the latest in Caesars Entertainment move into a greater focus on poker. Caesars currently operates the only online poker room in Nevada under WSOP.com, and in recent years have taken over the World Series of Poker which is run out of the Horseshoe and Paris casinos.

Caesars also reopened the poker room at their Planet Hollywood Las Vegas property in May this year.

Other poker rooms that have reopened or underwent renovations this year include Foxwood’s Casino in Connecticut, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Bristol, Virginia, and the Grand Island Casino Resort in Nebraska, which was the state’s first poker room .
