World Record €11.7 Million Online Jackpot Won By Norweigan Student

A Norweigan student in his 20’s has become the world’s biggest online jackpot winner after scooping an incredible €11.7 million ($15.9m) playing the Mega Fortune slot game at online casino Bettson.com.
Amazingly, the anonymous player didn’t even have to even gamble with his own money to win the staggering sum as he already had several free spins lodged on his account, a promotional tactic used by online casinos to attract new customers.
Apparently, the Norweigan student from Hordaland, still had 10 free spins to use and so one night after returning back from the cinema, he tried his hand at the Slot Machine Mega Fortune, whose rising progressive jackpot had been getting a lot of attention recently. He subsequently won €8 with his 10 free spins, and gambling on with his winnings at €0.50 a spin, he then hit the incredible €11.7 million jackpot on his 11th spin.
