Massive $8.4 Million Jackpot Hit At Twin Pine Casino

A retired firefighter from San Leandro has been celebrating his incredible good fortune after hitting the $8,430,301 progressive jackpot at a Californian casino this week.
Dale Valentine, 61, together with his wife own a holiday home in Lake County and would often enjoy vacations in the picturesque county. The couple have also been regular customers at the Twin Pine Casino in Middletown for over 15 years and even won a few small jackpots during that time before Tuesday’s life-changing windfall.
“I’m glad I hit the jackpot, but I’m really glad it happened here,” said Dale Valentine after hitting the California Megabucks progressive slots jackpot at his favourite casino.
Twin Pine management seemed equally as pleased with Valentine’s incredible luck and commented:
“We are extremely excited with the new found fortune of Dale Valentine, one of our loyal customers that frequent our gaming facility..It truly is inspiring when a valued customer who has supported our casino wins a million dollar jackpot of this magnitude.”
The Valentines have said that their plans for the money include renovating their Lake County home and turning it into their primary residence. Other plans include donations to charitable causes, such as the Hospice, and learning how to ride a Harley Davidson motorbike.
Since winning the staggering sum of money, Dale Valentine has received a flood of congratulatory messages from friends and family saying he was a deserved winner, having devoted 29 years of his life as a firefighting engineer.
Interestingly, after an interview on Santa Rosa radio, the station was inundated with calls from women wanting to know if he was married.
Dale Valentine said he was truly overjoyed with his good luck and new found fortune and said:
“Everything’s good. This is like icing on the cake. A lot of icing,”
