Californian Woman Hits "Super Royal Flush" For $1 Million
February 22, 2012 1:19 pmA Californian woman has been celebrating her incredible fortune after making a “Super Royal Flush” while playing 3-Card Poker at Paris Las Vegas, to scoop the $1 million jackpot bonus.
Practicing attorney Johnita Ejercito has been visiting the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino for eight years, but on this occasion, decided on a change of venue to the Paris Las Vegas. That is when Johnita hit the estimated 20 million to 1 long shot.
In order to win the $1 million, a player places their normal bets on the table plus an extra dollar on the bonus circle. They then receive three cards, with the “Super Royal Flush” jackpot only released when their three cards can be combined with those of the dealer to make a Royal Flush. However, the hand must be in diamonds, with all other suits being awarded $100,000 instead.
Commenting on their lucky winner, Enterprise VP of Table Games for Caesars Entertainment Jeffrey Kowalchuk, said:
“We would like to congratulate Ms. Ejercito for winning the $1 Million jackpot. The popularity of Three Card Poker has skyrocketed in the last few years, and Caesars Entertainment is proud to be the exclusive destinations for the $1 Million six card bonus. Our goal is to offer fun and unique table games for our guests, and being able to offer a jackpot comparable to what you see in progressive slots is a perfect fit.”
Caesars Entertainment introduced the game to their Las Vegas casino in May 2011, but this was the first time the bonus had been released. At its Atlantic City casino, the $1 million has been won twice, which tallies with analyst estimates that on average the “Super Royal Flush” is won around three times each year between Las Vegas and Atlantic City.
Johnita Ejercito says she will now use part of the money to fund her two daughters through a Economics Masters in London.
