WSOP Unveil Stunning Six-Figure Sum Bracelet
May 18, 2012 2:05 pmWith the 2012 World Series of Poker (WSOP) due to get underway in a little over one week, the organisation has now revealed this year’s winners bracelet as designed by Jason Arasheben.
The famous jeweler is best known for the eccentric pieces he sells from his shop
called ‘Jason of Beverly Hills,’ as well as his store in Las Vegas at the Cosmopolitan. In the past, Jason Arasheben’s designs have been celebrated as lavish and visually stunning, with the 2012 bracelet very much in keeping with his flamboyant style. Commenting on Arasheben’s latest creation, WSOP Executive Director Ty Stewart said:
“Blinger is Better. Jason grasped the heritage of WSOP bracelets, but was only interested if he could take it up several notches. This is a trophy that truly embodies the promise of today’s WSOP – seemingly unthinkable dreams are dealt each year. I challenge anyone to keep a poker face when they see this bracelet in person.”
Jason Arasheben’s WSOP bracelets may be stunningly eye-catching but his Main Event bracelet is in another league altogether. Comprising 160 grams of gold and decked out with rubies and diamonds (black and white) the bracelet is worth a six-figure sum in its own right. Describing his latest design, Arasheben said:
“We are honored to have the opportunity to create this masterpiece for the World Series of Poker and it will go down as the most expensive piece of championship jewelry across all major sports. We will tour this bracelet in our Las Vegas and Beverly Hills boutique so the world can bear witness to this historic work of art.”
The 2012 WSOP Main Event will take place between July 7-17 with the final table returning in November to decide the ultimate champion. In the meantime, the 61 event tournament kicks-off on May 28th at the Rio in Las Vegas.
